Duties
- Safely operate your own box truck, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements.
- Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices.
- Deliver packages promptly to designated locations, ensuring accurate delivery and proper handling of all items.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to confirm it is in optimal condition for daily operations.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch via mobile devices, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered.
- Assist with warehouse operations when necessary, including material handling and moving inventory within the facility.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during each delivery and addressing customer inquiries courteously.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Valid personal vehicle suitable for converting into a box truck or ownership of a compliant box truck with necessary licensing.
- Familiarity with commercial driving practices, route driving, and adhering to traffic laws including DOT regulations.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely.
- Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus but not required; training can be provided.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to load/unload efficiently while following safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery updates.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving weight handling in the workplace and heavy lifting as needed.

Pay: $5,933.46 - $6,565.01 per week
