Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize revenue, optimize occupancy rates, and improve overall profitability through effective revenue management techniques.
- Oversee managing hospitality operations budgets, ensuring cost control while maintaining quality standards across all areas.
- Ensure superior guest relations by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated and skilled team.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards; conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to handle guest inquiries efficiently and courteously.
- Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of daily transactions.
- Implement effective front desk operations to streamline check-in/check-out processes and enhance guest experiences.
- Foster a positive work environment by providing leadership that encourages growth, accountability, and open communication among team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with supervising experience in a similar setting.
- Strong background in hotel management, including revenue management, budgeting, financial operations, and human resources.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and complaint resolution.
- Ability to manage hospitality teams effectively while promoting teamwork and high performance standards.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests better.
- Knowledge of hospitality software systems such as property management systems (PMS) and multi-line phone systems is preferred.
- Experience with resort or large-scale hotel environments is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
