About the Role
As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a critical role in our production cycle by executing high-precision welding tasks that ensure structural integrity and aesthetic excellence. You will leverage your technical expertise to transform raw materials into finished components, directly impacting our ability to meet rigorous quality and delivery standards.
Responsibilities-
Execute precise TIG welding operations to assemble complex metal components while maintaining strict tolerances.

Perform thorough self-inspections on all finished work to guarantee adherence to quality specifications before final review.

Optimize production efficiency by managing workflow, utilizing shop tooling, and returning fixtures upon project completion.

Proactively identify opportunities for Lean process improvements and set-up reduction to enhance overall shop productivity.

Maintain equipment performance through routine cleaning and fluid level monitoring.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve manufacturing challenges and streamline daily operations.

Utilize internal management software to track project status and ensure compliance with company documentation standards.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Proficiency in TIG welding thin-gauge materials with a focus on penetration and visual quality.

Strong ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical schematics.

Experience operating various shop tools, including hand tools and metal rolls.

Solid understanding of inspection gauges and basic mathematical calculations.

Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Working knowledge of MIG welding techniques.

Demonstrated history of contributing to continuous improvement or 6S initiatives.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
