Position Summary
As a Sales Associate (Hair Expert) at The Hair Shop, you will engage and connect with customers by providing excellent customer service. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about building customer relationships.
Essential Functions
Customer Experience
· Acts as a brand ambassador, creating a store atmosphere that promotes the company culture and brand loyalty.
· Provides a welcoming environment, understanding each customer’s unique needs.
· Becomes an expert in product knowledge, ensuring customers find the best product to suit their needs.
· Ensures customers are aware of current sales and promotions to drive sales.
· Delivers exceptional customer service and responds resourcefully to customer requests and concerns.
· Accurately completes transactions for customers in a quick and efficient manner.
· Partners with Store Management to improve personal KPI’s through sales driven techniques.
Store Operations
· Ensures store cleanliness and maintains merchandising standards and stock levels.
· Assists with development of new and existing products, tools, and kits by providing customer feedback and insights.
· Partners with store management and HQ on operational tasks.
· Adheres to The Hair Shop’s policies and procedure.
Education & Experience Requirements
· 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience
· Experience in beauty/hair a plus
· High School diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· High energy and outgoing with the desire to achieve results.
- Solution oriented and a highly collaborative team player.
- Ability to perform the job safely & with respect for others, for property, & for individual safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $25.20 per hour
