American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of high-volume L&D experience and a Maryland or compact RN license.

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
-
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
12-hour shifts with 36 hours guaranteed per week
-
Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
-
On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
-
Must be willing to work the facility's schedule without restrictions
-
Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required at time of consideration
-
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)

Willingness to obtain EFM certification within 48 hours of offer required
-
Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours of offer required
-
NRP certification required
-
2+ years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
-
COVID vaccination required with state-recorded proof; declinations not accepted

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for L&D patients in accordance with professional nursing standards

Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or those under direction

Utilize specialized clinical knowledge and judgment to provide age-appropriate patient care
