Responsible for preparation and service of production of items needed for Doctor's Lounge and Special Functions. Will performs other duties and tasks as assigned. Schedules will fluctuate depending on the department needs. This position will require flexibility, stamina, communication skills and composure during busy times.

High school education, GED or Equivalent Work Experience.

Must have the ability to understand and follow basic verbal communications and \ or written instructions in English

Production experience preferred to include: planning menus, knife skills, food sanitation, food presentation and communication with staff and customers.

Various ovens, stovetops, steamers, tilt skillets, scales, measuring utensils, fryers, knives, meat slicers, food processors, buffalo chopper and mixers.

Close work environments with shared space. Loud background noises, extreme temperatures and fast paced work areas.

Prolonged standing, withstand extreme temperatures, ability to lift 35 Ibs, able to comprehend written and oral communication and instructions.

Able to keep up in a fast paced environment.

Review production and prep every day and follow task list for the Doctor's Lounge and Special Functions

Prepare current day's menu for Doctor's Lounge and Special Functions

Assist in planning menus and procuring inventory for items for the Doctor's Lounge and Special Functions.

Maintain appropriate and accurate production for meals/services throughout meal periods by communicating to the Doctor's Lounge attendant and Special Functions Coordinator. Answers in house phone timely and consistently and responds to needs as communicated. Respond to Doctor's Lounge attendant and Special Function Coordinator respectfully and timely

Follow task list for the schedule assigned preparing and producing as instructed to include appropriate times.

Maintain sanitary and orderly work environment.

Carry out any assignments as directed by Supervisor in a positive, cooperative manner.

Understand and support the policy of working various shifts as needed according to the schedule and Assist and train in other areas as needed.

Perform department assignments and follow sanitation schedules. Weekly Sanitation for Scheduled area followed and completed.

Complies with departmental and hospital policies and safety regulations.

Attends Department and Area meetings as scheduled.

Takes ownership and responsibility of food prepared with presentation, color and taste key elements.
