Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit
- Assist customers with product inquiries, including conducting product demos to showcase features and benefits
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Upsell products and services to enhance guest experience and meet sales goals
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is inviting and well-presented
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Supervise team members during shifts when applicable, providing guidance on customer service best practices
- Support inventory management by assisting with stocking and inventory counts as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service roles is highly desirable
- Supervising experience in a retail or grocery store environment is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests are preferred
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette
- Experience in merchandising, product demos, upselling, and stock management
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash handling procedures
