- Pay: $23–$25/hour based on experience
- Night shift premium: Additional $1.50/hour (if working nights)
- Bonus: $4,000 referral bonus
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6 AM–6 PM or 6 PM–6 AM
- Fixed 4-3 rotation: Sunday–Tuesday and every other Saturday or Wednesday–Friday and every other Saturday
Amcor is hiring Pouch Operators to set up, run, and support pouch machines in our Madison manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on production role for candidates with machine operation experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and run pouch machines to meet production standards
- Perform quality checks and document results
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Record production data and maintain clean work areas
- Support Inspector/Packer duties and assist with machine maintenance
Must Have
- Machine operator, manufacturing, production, packaging, printing, or web handling experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a fixed 4-3 schedule
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance, safety focus, and teamwork skills
Preferred
- Accurate measurement skills
- Basic metric conversion knowledge
- Forklift or hand jack experience
- Experience helping train or guide team members
