Clarity Animal Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and team-oriented Veterinary Technician to join our growing team in Billings, MT. This position is for 3 twelve hours shift 7am to 7pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday in our emergency and urgent care hospital.

Additional training can be provided as needed, including NG tube placement, CRI management, Doppler use, urinary catheter placement, and more. Certified Veterinary Technicians will receive allowances to support continuing education (CE) credits.
We are currently open Friday at 7 AM through Monday at 7 PM, with plans to expand to 24/7 services within the next six months.
Responsibilities
- Perform veterinary calculations including CRIs and medication dosing.
- Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and assist with NG tube and central line management.
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including anesthesia monitoring and post-operative care.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze samples.
- Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian.
- Take diagnostic radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about care and treatment plans.
- Answer phone calls when client service representatives are unavailable.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Participate in kennel care duties including cleaning, feeding, and exercising patients.
- Support patient hygiene and comfort as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar veterinary role required.
- Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and medical procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
