Description:
The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking a Replacement Substitute Computer Teacher for the Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School with the following qualifications:
Qualifications:
- NJ Certification(s)/License Required
-
1000 - Elementary School K-8; or
- 1001 - Elementary School K-6 with a 1103 - Middle School Endorsement in Science ; or
- 1001 - Elementary Schook K-6) with a 1107 - Middle School Endorsement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); or
- 1810 - Technology Education; or
- 1820 - Computer Science
- Ability to immerse students in exploration, innovation, creativity, and collaboration so they become experienced at trying new methods to solve real world problems
- Background in Design Thinking
- Knowledge of computer aided design and printing
- Ability to support students in engaging in the engineering process
- Understanding of designing algorithms and using computational thinking practices.
- Driven to continually participate in professional development to keep technology opportunities current and relevant
