Commercial Cleaning Technician (Evening Shift)
The Polish Room & Co. is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Technicians to join our growing team. We provide high-quality commercial janitorial services for office buildings, government facilities, medical offices, and other professional environments throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform commercial janitorial services in accordance with company procedures and client specifications.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, fixtures, and dispensers.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain carpet, tile, vinyl, concrete, and other hard surface flooring.
- Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly.
- Dust and disinfect desks, counters, windowsills, baseboards, doors, walls, and high-touch surfaces.
- Clean interior glass, entry doors, and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize break rooms, including sinks, countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, and appliances.
- Spot clean walls, doors, and glass as needed.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, damaged equipment, or supply needs to management.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining company quality standards.
- Follow OSHA, SDS, and company safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Complete required cleaning logs, quality control reports, and client documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working in commercial and government facilities.
- Assist with periodic deep cleaning projects, including carpet care, floor maintenance, stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and other specialty cleaning services as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous commercial janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or professional cleaning experience preferred.
- Experience cleaning office buildings, government facilities, schools, medical offices, or other commercial properties is a plus.
- Experience with floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and maintaining VCT flooring, is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive bending, lifting, kneeling, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Must be willing and able to successfully pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and any additional security screening required for government or secure facilities.

Work Schedule
Evening Shift
Typical work hours are between 4:00 PM and 12:00 AM, depending on the assigned facility and workload. Most work is performed after normal business hours. Actual start and end times may vary by location and contract. Occasional weekend work may be available for specialty floor care projects.

This position may involve servicing government, municipal, and other secure facilities. Candidates must be willing to undergo a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and any additional client-required security screening prior to assignment.
