Job Title: Phlebotomist
Required: 6+ Month Recent Exp, CA phlebotomy License
Location: Susanville, ca
Shift : M-F 5:45 AM-2:15 PM
Duration: 27 weeks contract with possible extension
Pay: $25-$27/hr on W2
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and blood sampling using aseptic technique to ensure safe and effective specimen collection.
- Collect blood specimens from patients while providing excellent patient service and maintaining comfort.
- Accurately label, handle, and process specimens according to laboratory protocols to ensure integrity and traceability.
- Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist with patient care activities to support overall clinical operations.
- Follow laboratory procedures meticulously, adhering to safety standards, infection control practices, and quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of specimen collection, processing steps, and patient information in compliance with hospital policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare staff, and laboratory personnel to facilitate smooth workflow and accurate results.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
