Position Overview
The Rewilded Care Lead serves as the primary provider and face of Rewilded Care™ within the Rewilded Wellness Center (RWC).
This individual will help establish and grow the Rewilded Care experience while delivering exceptional service to both dogs and their guardians. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, takes initiative, and is comfortable helping build a new wellness-focused offering from the ground up.
This role goes beyond traditional grooming. We believe coat care is an opportunity to build trust, support confidence, and improve the overall wellbeing of the dog.
Responsibilities
Rewilded Care Services
- Perform Bath & Brush services
- Perform desheds, demats, and coat maintenance services
- Provide Nail Wellness services
- Perform Feet, Face & Fanny maintenance
- Provide Haircuts
- Support dogs through wellness-focused handling and care
Dog Experience
- Utilize patience, observation, and consent-based handling practices
- Work at the dog’s pace whenever possible
- Recognize signs of stress, discomfort, fear, and overwhelm
- Support dogs with varying comfort levels around handling and husbandry care
- Create positive experiences that build confidence over time
Guardian Experience
- Educate guardians on coat care, maintenance, and wellness routines
- Recommend appropriate products and supportive care options such as our routine care pathways
- Communicate clearly regarding progress, comfort levels, and future care recommendations
- Build lasting relationships with clients and their dogs
Independent Operations
- Manage daily service flow and appointments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Monitor supplies and communicate inventory needs
- Support scheduling and client communication
- Uphold all Rewilded Care service standards and protocols
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Experience in grooming, bathing, veterinary support, training, daycare, animal care, or related fields preferred
- Strong understanding of canine body language
- Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and personalities
- Must embrace patience, observation, and consent-based handling practices
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
Schedule
Part-Time
Schedule may include:
- Weekdays
- Evenings
- Weekends

Compensation
Compensation based on experience and qualifications.
