Want accounting experience that goes beyond a single set of books? A growing private equity firm in Chagrin Falls, Ohio managing a portfolio of investments is looking for a Senior or Staff Accountant ready to own real responsibility, from AP/AR to month end close to working directly with auditors.
What you'll do:
- Own core accounting processes across the business
- Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable (3-way match, check requests, weekly check runs, vendor inquiries, vendor/customer maintenance, cash application, collections)
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Maintain the General Ledger
- Reconcile fixed assets and support project spending analysis
- Own month end close
- Process 1099s
- Support auditors on-site with documentation as needed
- Assist Controllers with additional accounting functions as needed
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong Excel skills
- Sharp analytical ability
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- MRI software experience a plus
Full time, 45-50 hours/week. Salary commensurate with experience.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
