The Fisherman and the Farmer sells prepackaged freshly frozen seafood caught on NC's Outer Banks. We are currently looking for a part time employee to vend for us at the Saturday Cobblestone Farmers Market in Winston-Salem. This is a good opportunity for someone to make a little extra money who is outgoing, responsible, and interested in the local food scene.
Duties
- Set up and organize your booth at the Lexington Farmers Market
- Engage with shop customers to increase sales
- Handle all cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) system
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, assisting with product selections, and maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Keep product frozen during markets and transport
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your booth area throughout the market day
- Assist with merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that promote featured products
