The Betsey Mills Club is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Aquatics & Events Manager to oversee daily pool operations, lead aquatic staff and programming, and help develop events and activities extending into The Betsey Mills Club.
This position combines hands-on aquatics leadership with programming, events, member engagement, and revenue development.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage daily pool operations, ensuring a safe, clean, welcoming environment.
· Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate lifeguards and pool staff.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and aquatic regulations.
· Develop and manage swimming lessons, aquatic programs, recreational activities, and pool events.
· Plan and coordinate rentals, community events, and special programming, with opportunities to expand programming throughout the Betsey Mills Club.
· Identify opportunities to increase revenue through memberships, rentals, programs, and events.
· Provide exceptional service to members, guests, and community partners.
· Work collaboratively with Betsey Mills staff and other departments.
Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years of experience supervising staff in aquatics and managing an aquatics program.
· Preferred 3 years of experience in recreation, hospitality, or event management.
· Current CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification or equivalent recognized pool-operator certification required.
· Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification required.
· Current CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid required.
· Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
· Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Experience coordinating events or recreational programming preferred.

Physical Requirements

Pay: $20,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
