We are currently seeking Electricians with at least 2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Applicants must be willing to work in all weather conditions, have knowledge of wire pulling from high to low voltage and pipe bending experience (preferred), but we are willing to train the right person.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follows construction drawings, scope of work, specifications or verbal instructions and plans the intended location of wiring and equipment.
- Measures, cuts, assembles and installs electrical wiring, stripping, splicing as necessary.
- Installs switches, circuit breakers, grounding leads and other electrical components.
- Performs circuit testing for continuity and safety after installation, and makes adjustments as needed.
- Does all work in accordance with the National Electric Code as well as state and local building and electrical codes.
Applicants MUST be willing and able to work in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana.
Applicants should have:
- 2 years of electrical experience
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely lift, push or pull material and equipment (ie. back up batteries, sakrete bags)
- Willingness to work indoor and outdoor (hot and cold temperatures)
- Willingness to work long hours
- Must be willing to execute duties as assigned
- Not afraid of physical labor (ie. digging trenches)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (a plus)
- OSHA Construction 10 Hour Certification (a plus)
- RF Training (a plus)
- Fiber work (a plus)
