Emergency Services Technician (Water Mold Fire/Contents Board-Up)

Pay: $41,600 - $58,240 (based on experience, certifications, and performance)
Schedule: Monday–Friday + structured rotating on-call (after-hours/weekends as needed)
On-Call Pay: On-call stipend/bonus paid (in addition to hourly pay)

The Role
As an Emergency Services Technician, you’ll be on the front lines supporting water mitigation, mold-related work, board-up, fire/smoke response support, and contents handling across a mix of residential and commercial properties. This is hands-on, fast-moving work requiring discipline, professionalism, and consistent documentation in our CRM.

What You’ll Do
- Respond promptly to dispatched emergency calls and arrive prepared
- Assist with scans and job scoping as required (including tools like Matterport, when applicable)
- Protect contents and unaffected areas (containment, floor protection, staging)
- Perform water extraction, selective demo of affected materials, and drying equipment setup/monitoring
- Support mold remediation work following industry standards under supervision
- Support board-up and securing properties after fire/storm/impact losses
- Assist with contents handling/pack-out support with care and respect for customer belongings
- Capture consistent photos, notes, moisture readings, and daily documentation in our CRM
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness, PPE compliance, safe disposal practices, and a professional customer experience
- Clean/maintain equipment, support weekly equipment checks, and keep vehicles organized and ready
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- IICRC WRT + ASD certifications (required)
- 2+ years of hands-on field experience in water mitigation/restoration
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Able to work a rotating on-call schedule
- Able to lift/carry typical restoration equipment; attics/crawlspaces as needed
Preferred
- Fire/smoke response support experience
- Board-up experience
- Contents handling / pack-out experience
- Strong customer communication and documentation discipline
