Key Responsibilities:
Loan Processing, Verification & Pipeline Management
- Prepare, assemble, and verify accuracy of loan files for consumer, home equity, and business closings, ensuring correct terms, vesting, legal descriptions, and signatures
- Verify and finalize loan documents for GAP, Extended Warranty, and debt protection products
- Authenticate income, employment, and asset documentation; proactively clear underwriting conditions
- Manage an active loan pipeline to ensure timely progression from setup through closing in alignment with SLAs
- Coordinate and oversee loan funding via checks, ACH, or wire transfers once closing conditions are met
Title & Collateral Management
- Process, file, and perfect vehicle liens with DMV and applicable state agencies
- Manage collateral releases, including vehicle titles, mortgage satisfactions, payoffs, and UCC releases
Member Service & Support
- Assist members and staff with loan applications via phone, in person, or digital platforms
- Utilize e-signature tools and guide members through required documentation
- Cross-sell credit union products to strengthen member relationships and meet goals
- Provide timely loan status updates and professionally handle member inquiries
Administrative, QA & Compliance
- Perform post-closing quality assurance reviews and ensure proper imaging and audit readiness
- Maintain and update loan and collateral records in LOS and related systems
- Support back-office functions including filing, insurance claims, audits, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and federal/state regulations including Truth-in-Lending, USA PATRIOT Act, and Red Flags Rule
- Support special projects and additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in consumer, home equity, or commercial loan processing preferred
Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands, arms, and computer systems
- Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
- Extended computer monitor use required
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $19.00/hour
