Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter. In this role, you will bring expert crafts a keen eye for detail . Your expertise will help ensure that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, and carpentry techniques.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Execute restoration projects including installing tongue and groove ceilings.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized job site.
- Proven experience as a journeyman carpenter with a strong background in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
- Skilled in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, framing drywall installation (including plastering), and fixture installation.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools (including CNC machinery), scaffolding systems, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to work independently or collaboratively on this project.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
