Educational Requirements:
The ideal candidate must possess:
- Highschool Diploma Required
- Minimum of 1 years teaching within an childcare setting
- Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check and drug screening.
- Has working knowledge of state licensing and accreditation systems.
- Demonstrated ability to independently as well as collaboratively make appropriate and rational judgments and decisions, reason effectively, and solve problems.
- Ability to effectively read, write and communicate the English language. Bilingualism is a plus.
- Has working knowledge of state licensing and accreditation systems.
- Demonstrated communication skills, including expressive (written and oral) as well as receptive skills.
- Ability to use technology such as iPads, and other educational resources.
- Demonstrated ability to independently as well as collaboratively make appropriate and rational judgments and decisions, reason effectively, and solve problems.
- Ability to effectively read, write and communicate the English language. Bilingualism is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Communication skills and the ability to implement age and developmentally appropriate activities for the preschoolers in their classroom.
- It is also required that this individual have a passion and commitment for working with children.
- He/she will be organized, complete assignments on time, be able to multitask, individualize learning activities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.75 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 27.50 per week
