Join our dynamic construction team as a Dump Truck Driver and become a vital part of our heavy-duty operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials across construction sites, supporting excavation, paving, and grading projects. Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and water trucks to move materials like dirt, gravel, asphalt, and debris efficiently across construction sites.
- Safely load and unload materials while adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other equipment operators to plan material delivery schedules that support project timelines.
- Assist with auxiliary tasks such as operating backhoes or horizontal drilling equipment when needed to support construction activities.
- Maintain accurate logs of materials transported, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety procedures diligently, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience operating manual or automatic dump trucks in a construction or heavy civil environment.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Hands-on experience with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on trucks and related equipment.
- Prior experience working on paving projects or with horizontal drilling operations is a plus.
