The Integrated Advanced Planning Manager leads Planning execution and system effectiveness for Mopar North America Aftersales, with primary accountability for the MARCS legacy planning system and its interaction with external suppliers and external department leads/analysts of supplier management.
This Manager is responsible for converting demand signals into executable, system driven supply chain actions. This role ensures that demand plans are accurate, data driven, operationally feasible, and embedded into planning and replenishment systems, directly impacting service levels, inventory investment, and customer satisfaction.
The position balances:
- Analytical depth (data modeling, automation),
- Operational execution (inventory deployment, replenishment alignment),
- Process and systems thinking (legacy platforms with strong knowledge of future supply chains systems, IT enhancements, modernization).
- Highly motivated to Teach (individual must gain and disseminate knowledge to a group of over 50 planners & Leadership on system functionality plus ideas to improve)
- One of Few Super Users (individual has large scale impact that can make mass changes but also bears large risk aversion of not impacting daily operations by overlooked consequences)
- Improve overall inventory effectiveness reduce and increase to meet both inventory reduction and customer service improvement (1.4B as our starting baseline)
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Proactively identify areas to improve inventory optimization while root causing areas of excess inventory both from systems and people driven decisions.
- Manage and prioritize, bugs, fixes and enhancement with a team ICT analyst that support Forecast and Demand Planning.
- Define business requirements and review program test results for MARCS, Forecast2000, and adjacent systems.
- Support safety stock, reorder point, and service level policies aligned to Mopar customer commitments
- Ensure suppliers understand and effectively consume MARCS demand signals while working in conjunction with Supplier Management teams
- Train the Train mentality – primary contact to answer for and drive system planning functionality that drives the primary business kpis.
- Support data governance, master data quality, and process standardization initiatives
- Enforce and standardize workflows and system usage – address work around or process deviations with training or system improvements.
