We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Banquet Cook/Line Cook to join our culinary team! Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of banquet and line menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
- Collaborate with the culinary team to execute menu plans, special event requests, and dietary specifications
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed during food preparation and service
- Assist in food plating, presentation, and garnishing to meet aesthetic standards for both banquet events and regular service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment sanitation and stock rotation
- Support catering operations by preparing large quantities of food efficiently while maintaining quality
- Follow all kitchen safety protocols, including knife skills and proper food storage procedures
Experience
- Proven experience in a culinary environment, preferably with banquet or fine dining experience
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with dietary department requirements and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant or catering experience demonstrating excellent food service skills
- Skilled in knife techniques, food presentation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
