The Demand Marketing Manager owns Pitsco’s middle-of-funnel demand engine for the district and B2B buyer – the attribution model, nurture architecture, and national demand-generation strategy that turn marketing-driven attention into qualified pipeline.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Developing and owning Pitsco’s national demand-generation strategy – identifying and executing scalable ways to generate and capture demand across the K-12 district audience
- Partnering closely with the Regional Marketing Manager to regionalize national campaigns as needed for state, district, or segment-specific activation
- Establishing and owning the attribution model and reporting framework – closing current gaps in UTM discipline, Salesforce customer-type data, and multi-touch pipeline attribution
- Owning marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline reporting
- Designing and owning the nurture architecture for the district/B2B buyer – segmenting by buyer type and portfolio interest to replace the current single-nurture-for-all-leads structure
- Optimizing the MQL to SQL handoff process, including lead scoring, routing, service-level agreements, and closed-loop reporting; partnering with Sales leadership on Salesforce hygiene and rep adoption
- Partnering with the marketing team members on demand-gen activation for product launches and strategic campaign moments
- Coordinating with agency and vendor partners for execution across content, syndication, and other demand-gen channels as needed
- Applying AI as a productivity multiplier – for nurture copy drafting, campaign brief generation, attribution-query writing, and competitive scan synthesis
- Operating comfortably in a marketing function that is evolving its operating model and cadence
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field
- Five to seven years of B2B demand-generation experience, including hands-on ownership of marketing automation platforms and attribution model design
