Duties
- Assess patients' physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting comprehensive evaluations of movement, strength, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices to promote recovery and improve mobility.
- Perform hands-on therapy interventions including manual therapy, orthotics adjustments, and specialized techniques like dance therapy or hand therapy occupational practice.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper use of medical equipment, and exercises to support ongoing recovery at home or in community settings.
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and compliance with healthcare regulations to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse patient populations.
- Strong communication skills to educate patients clearly about their treatment plans and progress.
- Spanish speakers are preferred!
