We are looking for a dynamic, reliable, detail-oriented retail sales associate for a busy downtown Orlando smoke & vape shop. While the environment is generally steady, we maintain strict standards around professionalism, punctuality, and how the store is run. This role is best suited for someone who can work independently, follow procedures closely, and take responsibility for their shift.
Responsibilities:
- Open and close the shop on time, every time
- Greet every customer and assist with product selection
- Strictly follow ID-check procedures for all age-restricted products
- Keep showcases, walls, and backroom clean, organized, and professional at all times
- Process sales accurately and balance the register at the end of each shift
- Follow store rules, checklists, and procedures exactly as trained
Product Knowledge (Training Provided):
Experience with smoke or vape products is preferred but not required. Familiarity with any of the following is a plus:
- Disposable vapes, vape mods, coils, and e-liquids
- Glass pieces and accessories
- Hookah, shisha, and charcoal
- Wraps, grabba leaf, cones, cigars
- Natural Kratom, CBD, and Delta products
We will train the right person who shows reliability and willingness to learn.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock
- Maintain professionalism during both slow and busy periods
- Product Knowledge (Training Provided)
- Prior smoke shop, vape, or retail experience preferred, but not required
- On-time attendance is mandatory
- Minimal phone use during shifts
- Weekend and late-evening availability required
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Attention to detail and respect for store rules
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
