We are seeking a highly skilled Excavation Operator with a background in commercial site work. The ideal candidate will be experienced with operating excavators, skidsteers really anything from small equipment to heavy equipment, and must demonstrate a high level of safety, efficiency, and site awareness.

Operate excavators and other equipment for trenching, backfilling, grading, and site prep

Perform precise excavation around utilities and fuel tank areas

Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes

Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance during all phases of excavation

Perform daily equipment inspections and light maintenance

Work collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers, and subcontractors

Assist with setting forms, prepping concrete areas, and general site tasks as needed

Minimum 3 years of excavation experience on commercial jobs

Proven experience with fuel tank installs, UST/AST systems, or gas station work is a major plus

Proficient in the safe operation of excavators, skid steers, loaders, and related machinery

Ability to read construction drawings and perform to tight tolerances

Strong understanding of soil conditions, shoring, and trench safety

Equipment certifications are encouraged

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to regional job sites
