Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in high volume environments and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the cooking process.
- Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and handling practices are followed.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly after use.
- Stock your station and leave it as you would like to find it.
- Support other kitchen staff as needed, including prep, cold line, saute/grill, and pizza.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a line cook or similar role within the food industry.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Experience required. Pay commensurate with experience level.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
