Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Contractor or Custodian to join our team. There are 2 locations if interested. One in Covington and other in Lexington. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to uphold safety standards.
- Carry out custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, adapting to the specific needs of each environment.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices including industrial cleaning techniques.
- Experience with commercial cleaning and floor care methods.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with staff and clients.
