Job Summary
We are seeking dependable General Labor / Production Assistants to join a growing manufacturing team in the Houston 77041 area. In this role, you will support production operations by assisting with equipment, inspecting products, packaging materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with production and manufacturing operations.
- Support machine operators with setup, material handling, and production tasks.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Pack finished products, seal boxes, stack pallets, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Read and follow work instructions, production orders, and safety procedures.
- Help identify quality concerns and notify supervisors as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Perform additional general labor and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility with varying temperatures, noise, dust, and industrial odors.
- Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Reliable transportation is required.
