Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns promptly
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and client care plans
Skills
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or long-term care environments
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice support
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy
- Competency in basic nursing skills including vital signs monitoring and medication management
- First aid certification and CPR training to respond swiftly during emergencies
- Experience working with diverse populations such as seniors or individuals with disabilities in group home or community settings

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
