Michigan Staffing in Livonia has teamed up with the leading HVAC wholesale distributor. We are looking for an Experienced Material Handler to add to their team. Must have hilo & general warehouse experience.
Job Summary:
Play a critical role in warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate and efficient movement, storage, and shipment of HVAC products and supplies. This position involves receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Pick and pack orders according to company standards.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling, storage, and documentation.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space.
- Follow company safety procedures and protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a must
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Forklift certification
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Valid driver's license - must be able/willing to be DOT certified.
Hours: M-F 7:15am to 4:30pm (1hr lunch) / Saturday some locations
Pay Rate: $19hr / wkly pay / contract to hire
