What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or authorized contractors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and support security-related screening processes in accordance with post orders and facility requirements.

Maintain a visible presence while handling security-related situations, escalating concerns when appropriate, and supporting order within a controlled government environment.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A valid firearms permit is preferred.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
-
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
-
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
