PAY RANGE: VA Rate $18.05/hour, plus bonus opportunity.

Work Schedule & Shift Details:
- Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional flexibility may be required based on patient needs
On‑Call Duties:
- Yes, on-call required
- Shared rotation with branch staff
- Typically nights/weekends on a rotating basis (branch-specific schedule)
Preferred Candidate Radius:
- Ideally within 15-30 miles of the Taos branch
Additional Requirements or Expectations:
- Ability to lift and carry equipment
- Comfortable working in patients’ homes
- Strong customer service skills and documentation accuracy
Preferred Background / Industry Experience:
- Home medical equipment (HME) experience preferred
- Healthcare delivery, home services, or medical logistics experience a plus
- DME or oxygen background strongly preferred
Additional Notes:
- This market has been historically challenging; local knowledge and relocation‑ready candidates would be beneficial
- Reliability and customer-facing professionalism are critical success factors for this role
Coverage Area:
- Taos, NM and surrounding rural areas as needed
Driver Experience Required (PST):
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience with delivery routes and in‑home setup preferred
- Customer service and basic equipment setup experience required
Responsibilities:

- Available for on-call assignments as needed (after business hours &/or weekends)
- Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients’ homes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety.
- Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time.
- Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service.
- Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required

- One year of related work experience, preferred
- Medical terminology, preferred

- Successfully demonstrates loading, unloading and proper tie down procedures as per company policy of transported cargo
- Understands use of all applicable home respiratory equipment and supplies
Physical Demands
- Lift and carry office equipment at times
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening
- Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
- Requires lifting (minimum of 65 pounds) and transporting of patient equipment
- Requires contact with patients and equipment with potential exposure to contagious pathogens
- Requires driving a company vehicle for the majority of the workday
- Required to comply with Rotech Respiratory Protection & N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy
Medical Evaluation and Fit Testing Compliance in a timely manner
- Annual Recertification
- Keep face clean-shaven to ensure N95 Mask face-seal protection per OSHA guidelines
