AFH Caregiver for ONE 24-Hour Shift on SUNDAYS
Do you have a knack for people, a heart full of compassion, and the ability to follow routines? If so, we want YOU to become part of our caregiving family! Our facility is home to just 6-8 wonderful residents and we’re looking for the right caregiver to provide quality of care and companionship. You will cover ONE 24-hour shift on SUNDAYS. Your shifts will start on Sundays at 7:15 a.m. and end on Mondays at 7:15 a.m. The AFH is located in Spokane Valley.
You are:
- An ethical and reliable person who brings integrity to everything you do
- Committed to providing quality, compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other specialized needs
- Able to provide care to residents in their own language (English).
- Ability to lift and assist residents as required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background check and TB testing (REQUIRED when hired)
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE CURRENT Food Handler's Card & CPR/First Aid
- Current NAC or HCA Certification.
- Nurse delegation certificates, or willingness to complete training within the first week of hiring (12 hours of CEUs).
- 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
*Compensation: $425 per shift, DOE. NOTE: This position includes one 24-hour shift, including a non-compensated eight-hour sleep window. A comfortable bed is provided in a dedicated sleeping space.
