POSITION OVERVIEW
Provide services and support to individuals to develop and enhance social, emotional and independent living skills. Services are provided onsite or at other appropriate location in the community, according to the individual’s needs and schedules including evenings and weekends. Part Time position working 3 days a week, one business day and weekend in the evening shift 4:00pm - 12:00 am.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide basic life skills training and support to individuals, which include: group
facilitation, individual meetings, and social outings.
· With guidance from supervisor, develop and implement activities/groups/training/support
related to individual’s needs based on ISP goals. May include, but not limited to:
a) rehabilitation coordination
b) self-care skills
c) social skills
d) independent living skills
e) medication management
f) health promotion
g) crisis intervention
h) supportive employment skills
· Assists in orienting and training new clients on program rules.
· Deescalate youth issues amongst youth.
· Maintain a youth friendly, secure and therapeutic environment.
· Secures and maintains equipment/supplies and inventory lists.
· Accurately documents client progress, program needs, etc.
· May require attending monthly clinical supervision.
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: High school Diploma required. BA/BS in Human Service preferred.
· Good oral and written communication
· Ability to pass background checks, drug, alcohol and TB test.
· Valid Driver’s License.
· Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds!
Pay: From $18.40 per hour
