OBGYN Certified Front Office/Back Office Medical Assistant
Main position: Check-Out possible float to Check-In or Back-Office
Long-Term candidates preferred
**OBGYN experience a plus**
Front Office: Answering multi-line phone, triage patients, Check in and check out, scheduling, collecting copays, processing payments, EMR routing- medical records, faxes, benefits/eligibility, PA/Referrals, scheduling inductions with hospital and minor procedures, ensures that patient and provider are prepared for visit, office supply ordering and inventory, maintaining reception area, etc..
Back Office: Triage patients, charting, rooming, vitals, assisting with minor procedures, surgery scheduling, prior authorizations, NST's, IUD's, Nexplanon/Implanon, Depo's, Injections, EMB, Colpo, Leep, result notification, prescriptions and communication with pharmacies, clinical supply ordering and inventory, FMLA, etc..
Experience and comfort working in a fast paced environment
Strong computer skills: EMR, Word, Excel
Strong interpersonal/customer service skills
Compassion and commitment to patient care and satisfaction
Job Type: Part-time
