We are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman to lead commercial sheet metal installation projects and oversee field crews. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing the installation of ductwork and related HVAC components while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Crew Management
- Lead and supervise sheet metal installation crews on commercial HVAC construction and retrofit projects.
- Coordinate daily work assignments and maintain productivity on all job sites.
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
- Train, mentor, and develop sheet metal mechanics and apprentices.
- Conduct regular jobsite meetings and communicate project expectations clearly.
Project Execution
- Oversee the installation of commercial HVAC ductwork, fittings, dampers, specialty systems, and related sheet metal components.
- Ensure all work is installed according to project drawings, specifications, SMACNA standards, mechanical codes, and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
- Review blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to plan and execute work effectively.
- Identify and resolve installation challenges to keep projects on track.
Quality Control & Safety
- Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, lifts, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards and quality issues.
Planning & Communication
- Assist with manpower planning and labor forecasting.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure crews have the resources needed to perform efficiently.
- Track project progress and provide updates to management.
- Complete daily reports, timekeeping, and project documentation accurately and timely.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal installation experience.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience as a Lead Mechanic, Foreman, or similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial ductwork systems, fittings, air distribution systems, and installation best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and schedule requirements.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with large commercial, institutional, healthcare, and industrial projects.
- Knowledge of SMACNA standards and fabrication practices.
- Technical training or apprenticeship completion in sheet metal or HVAC trades.
