ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversees and manages operations for all disciplines within the outpatient facility(s) and assists Director of Operations with Sherman behavioral facility(s).
Oversees therapeutic services to patients and their families, to include case management and therapeutic responsibilities.
Seeks resources to answer unmet needs.
Ensures program compliance with JCAHO, HCFA, State, and patient rights regulatory standards.
Coordinates performance improvement activities and is responsible for the effectiveness of the program quality management activities.
Evaluates the appropriateness of all medical/psychiatric emergency interventions performed in the program.
Manages other PHP/IOP Clinic Managers.
Directs and manages effective clinical service delivery system using applicable principles of social work, patient psychosocial assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, family intervention, patient/family education and treatment planning.
Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology from an accredited college or university.
Requires two to five years of experience as a Social Worker in the mental health field.
Leadership experience is strongly preferred.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
