Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Perform acupuncture treatments utilizing techniques such as trigger point therapy and aseptic methods to ensure safe, effective care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop tailored treatment plans
- Manage acute pain conditions by applying specialized pain medicine strategies and TCM principles
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices to promote ongoing wellness
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management, documenting all patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for comprehensive diagnosis and integrated patient care approaches
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a sterile environment during all procedures
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist with appropriate state or national certification
- Demonstrated experience in pain management, including acute pain management techniques and trigger point therapy
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and the principles of TCM
- Proven ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments effectively
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for seamless documentation and record keeping
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to direct patient care
- Experience in pain medicine and the application of aseptic techniques during treatments
