Additive Manufacturing Technician
3D Printing | Binder Jet | Metal Casting | Taunton, MA | Full-time, hourly, on-site
D.W. Clark casts engineered components for critical infrastructure and defense. Our mission is to advance how castings are made and the systems they make possible: the submarines that defend the nation, the infrastructure that runs everyday life, and the technologies changing how the world moves. We are building the most capable, technology-forward casting operation, as part of proving American manufacturing can lead again. We pour centrifugal and static castings with both fixed and 3D printed tooling in steels, stainless, nickel, cobalt, and specialty alloys, supported by in-house built tailored operating software.
We are adding an Additive Manufacturing Technician to our 3D printing team. Printed components are utilized in more than 70% of our products. This is a hands-on production role on our ExOne S-Max binder jet printers, working with an established team lead: setting up builds, depowdering and cleaning printed components, running quality tests, and packaging finished printed components. The right candidate is mechanically inclined, careful with detail, and takes pride in quality and production output.
A note on schedule, stated up front: printing runs on build cycles that can require start time flexibility, extended hours, and weekend time.
