The Role
We're seeking a talented, highly organized Senior Interior Designer to support the Owner + Principal Designer across all phases of luxury residential projects. This is a part-time position with real opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the firm continues to expand.
This role is for someone who loves both the creative and operational sides of design — someone who can lead portions of projects, communicate confidently with clients and vendors, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves on installation day.
What You'll Do
Design Development
- Develop whole-home design concepts and client presentations
- Select furnishings, lighting, textiles, finishes, materials, and accessories
- Create furniture plans, elevations, renderings, and design documentation
- Assist with kitchen and bath design development
- Source products aligned with project budgets and design intent
Technical Design
- Produce detailed drawings and design documents using Chief Architect
- Create floor plans, elevations, construction drawings, and renderings
- Maintain accuracy in specifications, dimensions, and project details
Project Management
- Communicate with clients, contractors, trades, workrooms, and vendors
- Track project timelines, orders, and installation schedules
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs
- Take field measurements, photos, and notes as needed
Installation & Studio Support
- Coordinate and support project installations
- Unpack, inspect, label, organize, and stage furnishings and accessories
- Style and accessorize spaces alongside the Principal Designer
- Assist with photoshoot preparation and breakdown
- Help maintain an organized, inspiring studio environment
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of professional residential interior design experience
- Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Chief Architect required
- Experience in whole-home residential design, kitchen and bath, space planning, furniture specification, and construction drawings
- Strong client communication and project management skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Canva preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation
Starting at $40/hour, based on experience
Job Type: Part-time with opportunity for full-time growth
