Job Summary
As a Marina Attendant, you are the face of our lakeside operations. You will spend your days outdoors, assisting guests with motorized and non-motorized watercraft rentals (pontoons, jet skis, kayaks, paddleboards), maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the dock area, and ensuring our guests have a safe, unforgettable experience on the water. Key Responsibilities
- Guest Assistance & Rentals: Greet guests warmly, process rental agreements, and assist guests with boarding and exiting watercraft safely.
- Safety & Instruction: Provide clear, comprehensive safety briefings and operating instructions to guests before they head out on the water.
- Fleet Maintenance: Clean, fuel, and inspect watercraft (pontoons, wave runners, boats) before and after each use to ensure they are in peak operating condition.
- Dock Operations: Properly secure boats to docks, manage slip rentals, and keep the entire marina, beach, and dock area clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Transaction Management: Accurately handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions for rentals, fuel, and bait/tackle sales.
- Weather Monitoring: Stay vigilant regarding weather conditions to ensure the safety of all guests on the water.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old (required for fueling and operating certain motorized watercraft).
- Boating Experience: General knowledge of boating, knots, and water safety is highly preferred, but we will fully train the right candidate.
- Customer Service: Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, sun, light rain), stand/walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as summer weekends are our busiest times.
- Ability to swim is required for safety.
Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
