Computer Evidence Specialists has been selected by the Federal government to serve as the Federal Tobacco Compliance Check vendor in Tennessee. CES inspectors and underage purchasers will perform non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to minors is restricted.
Ideal underage purchasers will be 16 - 20 years old, have a strong work ethic, and have sufficient free time to complete the assigned inspections with the inspector. Purchasers must complete the following forms which will be provided by CES: Parental Release, Medical Release, Underage Purchaser Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement and Commitment to Protect Non-Public Information.
Underage Purchaser Responsibilities:
- Complete short online training course.
- Must be under the legal age to purchase tobacco when performing any compliance check.
- Access to a car is not needed for the underage purchaser.
- Purchaser will not deceive the retailer in any way.
- Will dress normally, use valid identification, and will not lie about their age.
- Compensated at $17.75/hour.
- Applicants ages 18-20 will receive a background check
