Summary:
The Human Resources Manager oversees and manages all aspects of the organization’s recruitment, hiring, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, performance management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws acting as a bridge between management and employees to address concerns and maintain a positive work environment. The Human Resources Manager manages all daily human resources functions for Wisconsin Rapids operations. The Human Resources Manager also works cooperatively with the company’s Vacaville, California based human resources staff and receives administrative support from the staff.
Accountability # 1 Leadership Development – (25%):

Develop a high performing management team, with a focus on People Development

Lead, train, and motivate others to promote employee engagement

Provide guidance for improvement and solution-focused support

Assist recruiting personnel with talent recruitment and employee retention

Accountability # 2 – Human Resources Management (50%):

Act in an impartial manner to ensure all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment.

Responsible for employee/human resources component of any third-party audits.

Ensures all employment related documents and company documents are current.

Works with Wisconsin facility managers on all personnel issues.

Responsible for internal communications, including employee updates, newsletters, memos, benefits changes, etc.

Ensures any necessary employee corrective action steps adhere to company policy and are documented.

Represents the company and ensures that employment policies are understood and adhered to.

Provide leadership and direction to management staff as necessary.

Responsible for developing and maintaining partnership with temporary employment agencies, ensuring that qualified and reliable personnel are added to the employment base when necessary.

Works with General Manager for business staffing and headcount needs.

Recruits and interviews direct hire management positions.

Works cooperatively with other managers, supervisors and administrative personnel.

Provide additional operational to support to General Manager as needed.
Accountability # 3 – Communication (15%):

Promptly inform company’s senior management group of known or anticipated impacts to the business that will negatively impact revenue, profits, operations, or reputation

Ensure clear and timely communication within the Wisconsin operations and its departments to maximize productivity and ensure directional alignment.
