Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations
- Assist with the delivery, installation, and removal of household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate proper installation and troubleshooting
- Use mechanical skills to assemble appliances and perform basic equipment repairs on-site
- Conduct thorough inspections of appliances for functionality and safety before and after installation
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, service reports, and inventory records throughout the day
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair or field service work
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC systems, and electrical wiring
- Ability to read technical diagrams and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues effectively
- Prior experience with service technician roles or appliance installation is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to lift heavy appliances safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Basic knowledge of assembly techniques and equipment repair procedures
