This job position is at a general contracting and roofing company, but you aren’t going to be swinging a hammer or doing any actual construction.
What our company does is help local homeowners whose roofs have been damaged by recent hail and wind storms.
Storms come through and bang up thousands of roofs in the area, which is covered by homeowner’s insurance.
Most of the time, these roofs are paid for almost entirely by insurance, meaning the average homeowner gets a brand new $20,000+ roof for as little as a $1,000 deductible. Very similar to if you totaled a car and insurance owes you a new one.
While we title this position “sales” and customer service, insurance claim-based storm-damage roofing projects are more like practically giving roofs away for enormous discounts to people who already need them. That may sound too good to be true, but that’s how insurance works.
We acquire customers in multiple ways, but one of the most practical ways is going into neighborhoods and performing no-obligation, free roof inspections for the residents. Our business also invests in high quality SEO, Google leads, and has a robust referral network and existing book of business of prior customers.
Your job will be to set appointments, perform inspections, document damage, complete basic paperwork, and sign homeowners up for roof replacements with our company through their insurance, which generally covers anywhere from 60-95% of their cost. Satisfaction Solutions handles all accounting, estimating, project management, installation and production.
The average rep completes 5-8 roofing projects per month. The typical roofing project is around $20,000 making the average earning per roofing project roughly $2,000. Satisfaction Solutions also offers guaranteed inspection pay to new representatives (we get it, straight commission sounds scary. This gives you a safety net and runway).

You will receive training on the basic construction, insurance, and storm damage knowledge you need in order to represent and assist homeowners through their projects, so prior experience is not necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable dealing in person with customers
- Must be physically able to climb a ladder to a roof
- Must have reliable transportation (your own vehicle)
- Independent nature, self-discipline, and good time management (representatives create and manage their own work schedule)
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not a necessity
- Must be willing/able to self-generate leads as well as run office-leads
- Must have a smart phone capable of taking pictures/video during home inspections and use company apps for job files
Responsibilities & Duties of the Position
- Inspecting & documenting homes for storm damage
- Meeting directly with homeowners after inspections to educate them on the repairs and claims process and sign restoration agreements
- Creating estimates & measuring home exteriors and damages
- Marketing / lead generation for new prospects
Pay: $84,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year
