Service Engineer
Responsibilities
Provide accurate and timely phone support.
Setup, install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Komax machines in-house or at customer sites.
Reviews and prepares parts and equipment for return to stock condition.
Complete and provide all necessary documentation to customer, sales, and service supervisor and attach it to CRM for in-housework or work at customer sites in a timely manner.
Maintain customer and unit history on CRM database.
Input of interactions with customers, sales, etc. must be entered into the CRM database in a format that is clear and concise.
Maintain a neat and organized environment at a desk, in-housework areas, and at customer sites.
Communicate and coordinate with other departments or personnel when the use of their equipment is needed.
Relocation is not provided.
Education
Bachelor's degree in electronics or related experience required
Qualifications
Customer service experience preferred
Minimum of 3 years' experience with skills in training, installing and repairing various models of industrial micro-processor-controlled equipment
Experience working with ERP and CRM systems preferred
Required Skills
Bilingual (Spanish), preferred
MS-Office
General personal computer knowledge
Must be able to read and comprehend electrical schematics and drawings
Good oral and written communication skills
Must have strong electro-mechanical aptitude
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Demonstrate high level of attention to detail when inspecting, trouble shooting and repairing units to ensure the work is accurate and complete
Good manual dexterity, motor skills, vision and hearing
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist high alone and to handle up to 100lbs with assistance
Prolonged standing, sitting, stooping, bending
Frequent travel required
Valid Passport
