Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation equipment, furnaces and ductwork.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for accurate system installation and repair
- Conduct service calls for mechanical failures involving HVAC Equipment
- Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults and perform equipment repairs or replacements as needed
- Braz or perform mechanical repairs on HVAC components using appropriate tools and techniques
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, parts used, and system performance for each project
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, or as a service technician within the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) industry
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience
- Ability to read schematics and HVAC design documents accurately
- Experience with equipment repair involving electrical components using appropriate tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of field service procedures including troubleshooting HVAC systems in various environments
- Familiarity techniques and mechanical systems related to heating and cooling solutions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse settings requiring physical activity such as lifting heavy equipment or working at heights
